This website features many early recordings from my personal collection from the 1890's to the 1940's. First, there's NBC Radio's coverage of the Pearl Harbor attack from 2:00PM on December 7, 1941 through the end of the next day on December 8th. That's 61.5 hours total from the Red and Blue Networks! A few sounds from the late 1890's can be had from my Berliners. The Edison Diamond Discs always have a great sound for the 1910's and '20s. Victor, the king of disc companies, rules this collection as well. Columbia features that wonderful electric sound, especially on the Ted Lewis records which I love. He'll soon have his own page like Harry Lauder, my other favorite. There's also lots of other labels, which I'm just starting to upload and will expand on with time.
